It's a war out here.

@MissChick@dee can you guess what I did with this skunk?

These predators are messing with the wrong chicken owner. Always one step ahead. I learned how to make and set snare traps the day after the 2nd Fox.

Just curious what do you do with the carcass?

Rooster that’s just a great photo really skunk head stuck going after that egg. Did you get him or did he hang himself?
I edited that post. Had it all set up and forgot about it! Lol
No I shot him. Ducks are loose in the run at night and they like to drop eggs all over.

Will do. Yea I now realize these snares are a one time use.
Depends on how mangled it is really . If it's real bad save the swivel and cam lock. You can buy more cable and make your own . Or make an extension on a new one .Double swivels will lessen the mangle . You can also make longer snares . A quarter inch nut hammered works good .And are cheaper than crimp sleeves . DON't BUY CABLE FROM TSC !!!!!!!It cost to much .Since trapping suppliers make them by the thousands . It's cheaper to buy them premade unless you can get cable cheap. Been there done that .:hmm Nice work :thumbsup Keep killing ;)

It’s kinda off topic but...my new neighbors are building a workshop. He’s a taxidermist. It has a huge gun vault, all steel and cinderblock. We couldn’t figure out what he was building. It’s um...impressive to say the least do you want to see it?
