It's after 1:00 am and I'm still on BYC

You are not kidding!! I have stressed about the darn humidity since I turned on the incubator! There is an article on BYC about dry incubation that I printed and am trying to follow...have my room up to 70% humidity, both vents uncovered, steady temp for 3 days, but the most humidity in the incubator has been 25%. As I stated in the above post, I'm assuming that the temp and humidity will rise once I put the eggs in the incubator. (This is called setting the eggs, right?) I want every one of these babies to hatch soooo bad!!

Thanks everyone for the stories and words of encouragement. This is a wonderful place..not only as a resource...but I'm getting a sense of community too! I have a feeling I'm going to need that support and advice! I was a city girl until I met the love of my life and moved to his Kentucky farm 6 years ago! Now I'm hatching chickens! I LOVE IT!
