its all my fault im an idiot

I had a single chick I raised for four weeks until my next group hatched. My four weaker – Marilyn was in a very large cardboard box, inside the box, I placed a smaller box with the new hatches in it. Around the small box, to keep Marilyn getting into the smaller box, I put hardware clothe – just like a curtain. After a couple weeks – the little chicks moved themselves out of the small box to be with Marilyn.

Here are the boys – all three are cockerels – these pictures were taken yesterday. The blue with red on wings is Marilyn, the Splash Orp is Gumps and the darker blue is Gordon Lightfoot (first chick to escape the small box).

If you combine, just be careful at first that the younger chicks do not get too hot in their smaller place.

For goodness sake, beating yourself up isn't going to change anything. Post where you live, town, state. Maybe someone on here lives close by and can help you. I have several two-week old chicks but how can anyone help if they don't know where you are. Best of luck and Jenny gave you some kind a great info.
