We had to go to TSC yesterday to get more chick food and look what she made me get!!!

All are Cochin Bantams and yes I misspelled Bantams on all the pics Grrrrrrrr!

If your Buff has 5 toes you may have a Silkie instead! Skin is black. Looks more Silkie-ish.

So, do you think the Buff Silkie one is a Silkie or a Silkie cross?
We were thinking they were all the same breed, just because they were all exactly the same size and very similar in form, foot feather, and behavior... My 6 week old Silkies I hatched were almost twice as big and much fluffier from day 1... thus the confusion...
So the other white (?) one.. the one in the front in the white photo... Do you think that is a Silkie/Cochin cross because of the yellow skin?
If they seem to have a beard.. is that a clue they may have Silkie in there?

The Golden Laced one has yellow skin mostly.. but then black skin on his inside toes.. ...
The Black/Blue/Birchen one also has black skin on some parts of his feet and yellow on the rest... and his inside toes look a little oddly formed and stubby.. like he has no toenails on them..

I was thinking the same thing about the second to last one. The buff I believe is what it said...but yes, I was thinking Silkie.
Check them toes! (and the blue skin of course!)

This whole thing is soooo funny as Squishy was just telling me about Silkie/Cochin crosses this morning....and there ya go we have a couple already. We hope .....

whatever! they sure are cute! OK, OK , I admit it! It's MY fault we bought them! arrrgh! I can't resist the cute fluffiness! I need help! This is worse than puppies! They are in my bathroom and I see them every time I go in there..with their cute liddle fluffy butts and cheeping
