I need to paint but it's been raining (HOORAY) so will have to put that aside for now. I know I just started a thread about flooring but I wanted to show you the finished Chicken Ranch, lol.

Windows for ventilation and light. I am putting in some really cute wall sconces that have blue mason jars for covers plus an outlet for a fan. We are partitioning off half (?) for storing feed and such. I'm calling it the "observation" room,

WOW! Love the look thus far and I DOUBLY LOVE old mason jars! Post all done pictures too!

Ooooohhh! Lucky, Lucky Lucky!!!!!!!! I wish mine were that big!

My husband talked me in to getting the bigger one. The thing is, with the windows it doesn't leave me many choices for roost and nest box positioning so I'll have to get creative. I'll post pictures to be sure. You guys have helped me so much it's the least I can do.

What if you added a second story inside the coop and placed the roost above...maybe make it as high as the windows with the floor being a rempvable poop board...

hmmmm, I'm picturing a few different things there. I don't want anything in front of the windows so I can open and close them with ease. I was in there sweeping it out just now but my catahoula pup was jumping in and running through the coop like a little kid so I couldn't think because I was laughing so hard at him

Silly pooch. Anyway, I think I can fit nest boxes and a couple of roosts in there pretty good without it being above the windows. I'll just have to get in there and plan without a playful puppy.
He's worse than a little kid with it comes to mud puddles.
