It's Bristol baby!

I know that not everyone is a Nascar fan but I've loved it ever since my dad and I sat one Sunday afternoon watching the first live televised Daytona 500. I now live 10 miles from the Bristol Motor Speedway and 2 times a year we get to go through the experience of a steady parade of RVs and trailers. Demonstration cars parked at Lowes, Home Depot, Food City, etc... Yes, race week is once again upon us. It always makes for a long weekend of qualifying and 3 races.

So is anyone from BYC, besides me, going to Bristol this weekend?

Not going to Bristol, but we have tickets to the Quaker State 400 at the Kentucky Speedway in July!

I hope they got the traffic figured out. I heard it was bad last year.

We'll also be at the Coca Cola 600 in May. My second favorite track.

I hope so too. We were two of the 20,000 or so people that never made it. At the half-way point we turned around and went home. We were about 2 miles from the stadium and it was a parking lot.
