Your run looks nice and solid and very attractive. Good job with the hardware wire on the lower half. And I love the overhangs. Well done - it's all win.

I have the same pop door. Put a hasp on the door trim (or wall?) with an eye screw on the door. You might need a little shim to make it level with the framing on the door. You can lock the door at night (I use luggage locks) and in the daytime you can open it up and secure it in the upright position with a hook through the eye screw. Easy Peasy.

Also, you might want to consider some rungs for your ramp. It's pretty steep and the girls will likely end up sliding down it on their booties. I made the same mistake.

Yeah, what we've got there is just a temporary one until I can get something a bit more substantial. So far they seem to be doing okay.

Update- The door and window are now dark green! I'm about to go paint the trim the same color.

When I hung the waterer inside, I think it was too heavy for eye hook because the second I let go of the waterer it fell to the bottom of the coop, pulling the eye hook half way out. Is there anyway I can fix that?​

How many chickens do you have?

Don't know what you had your waterer hanging from, but it will probably need to be a 2x4 or so to support the weight of the water.

I only have 4 chickens and I simply water them from a large bowl. They drink it almost gone every day, forcing me to wipe it out and freshen it. All the waterers that I could find were awfully big (ie: heavy), so I bypassed that and just gave them a cereal bowl for their food and a pyrex bowl for their water. I put them on top of overturned clay flower pots to keep the shavings/poo out. It's worked for me so far...

For the longest time we had a plastic waterer from TSC that we suspended from a 2X4 under the coop. This kept most of the dirt out, but the sunlight caused a lot of algae growth around the rim of the plastic tray.

Yeah, we have a Tractor Supply waterer hanging from a 2x4 support in the roof. And we have 8 chickens. They're not out of water since they have two more waterers in the run.
