So to solve that I put a skirt around the bottom, you may not be able to see the detail but there is about a 1 - 1 1/2" clearance at the bottom.

Just enough so it doesn't drag on the grass, but high enough so they can't sneak up under. If you would like I'll get some close up pictures and send them to you.
