It's finally spring!!!

The first day of spring is upon us! Flowers are blooming, birds are singing, our domestic fowl are laying and breeding! Hope everyone's spring will be amazing, share anything spring related on here, that being spring hatches, spring traditions, plant care, anything and everything! I'm a little excited if you can't tell

Beautiful, right? The only possible thing I can think of that’s bad is the occasional winds. Other than that, it’s a great few months!

The first day of spring is technically on the 20th... Where I live there's often even a snowstorm and a few hard freezes after that, so it's hard for me to celebrate just yet.


But it does feel like spring, we've definitely gotten our boot-sucking, ankle-deep, sloppy spring mud already. The daffodils are starting to come up, so at least we'll soon have spring flowers to look at. And I've started to hold back eggs for my first hatch of the year, so that certainly feels springy to me as well.

It totally is! My allergies are once again being annoying, but usually totally worth it, my soul is happy! Started my spring and summer watering schedule for my succulents and plants, can't wait to repot some of them! Ah so excited I'm barely able to keep my cool!

OK I can see how for some spring starts at the end of March or even mid April, but that's taking things a little too far

Up here, I often get snow storms as late as Mother’s Day !
