It's Friday, the 13th... and setting eggs

Still two out and six in. Apparently sweet talking does not get them to come out. Tapping, chirping, and threatening them seems to not be working as well. However it is working as far as making my hubby think I am crazy.

congrats to everyone on your hatches, pips, zips, and all. Mine is not going so well. Have 3 little fluffy butts out, 1 died trying to get out, one was stuck so I helped it... its peeping but weak. Have another pip right now, but that leaves 15 with nothing going on. starting on Day 22. Think this is the worst one yet. this was kind of an expensive hatch. I am praying that a few more are just late bloomers....

Keep all the pictures coming... they are all beautiful little fluffy butts!!!!!

Looks like the 2 babies I had to help out of the shell are going to make it , that makes it 16 hatched out of 20 eggs. Brahmas silver laced, Buff and one bonus buff laced if think.

I also bid on some awesome Dark Brahmas from the same breeder I got the siler laced from, they should be here next weekend, my husbands going to kill me.

He is just finishing up a brand new coop and pen, its awesome.

Everyones peeps are so cute.

Last time I tried to hatch eggs, all of mine died as well. I am very sorry for your loss, as I know how upsetting it can be. Especially when you get so excited towards the end..

Overnight I had 8 more hatch. So that's up to 27 right now. I have only one more with a pip. There are 8 that aren't doing anything at all. Today would be what, day 23?

I'm sorry that happened to me the first couple times i hatched. My problem was I didn't leave the plugs out and they got no fresh air,and would die. Sorry yours died. tTry again you'll get it
