My birds are aggravated about the cold too! Sis says Answer keeps looking at her like "I think you should wrap my leg and bring me back in"!! Poor guy I feel like I have let him down! :(. I have all locked in the coop since we threw the babies in there too, and I just don't think they can take a draft yet!

They did get some corn on the cob and orange pulp as oranges were on sale here 6 for a buck! Yippee
 
Catfood has a lot of salt in it, so it's something to consider. Our birds eat it sometimes, when the barncats don't eat all theirs, or I just happen to have a bit extra. It's a treat that the peas especially love. But I don't like to give it to them in their food, because of the high salt content.
 
It went from 50 this morning down to 29 now with a nasty cold wind. Snow coming in. Our birds are totally confused.

You might want to check your cat food label. We had some posts here lately that showed most cat foods have about the same sodium in it as regular game bird feed.
