Its January when do we start ordering chicks??

Just wondering when everyone starts putting in orders for chicks or eggs for Spring?

I just put my order in to day. I will be getting 25 but only want 12. I might auction the ones I dont want. Ill wait till there older though. My pet snake might eat a couple. Probly not . I get attached to them fast.For shipping safly is why they wanted me to order 25. What kind are you getting? How many? Scotty

Just sent mine out today to Ideal, 16 Partridge Wyandotte, and 14 Dark Brahma. My dad handed me the letter containing breeds/prices from Ideal and said "Don't tell me about it"

. Now the wait

I tried ordering for the first time last year in May???ish...sold out of everything I wanted :-( SO I had to buy eggs to hatch out my own:-(

I just looked at Ideal and some stuff is already sold out till March. I may end up ordering soon so I can get what I want but of coarse I will still hatch some to. I want to order 20 more ducks since ideal has them for $1.60 but hubby says we dont have the room.
