I was doing some landscaping at the barn this afternoon and dug up a grub.... thought to myself "Hmmmm... but the chickes would like that."

So, I took it in to them, they ran from it.... then one decided it might not be so scarey..... then another one got brave... next thing I know all six of them were fighting over it.

I think they all got a piece. Had to go look for some more. Shame on me for not bringing enough for everyone.

Yes we had the same thing happen but it was who was grabbing form who.

p.s. we used needle head crickets and meal worms.

That is funny! Every now and then, I like to toss my chicks a worm. The cockerels are the most entertaining though. Whoever has the worm thinks EVERYBODY else is after him. And I agree, at least every chick gets a taste of the treat.
