It's "Mischief" night...

Dang it, that was sounding so good and scary, that was it? No weird ghost or demon coming out of the barn and scaring the tar out of you and you dropping the t.p and leaving a trail to where you lived? It's mischief night for crying out loud.

Me and some friends did play pranks one year when we were young and I felt terrible about it.

We went to this one persons house that had this HUGE pumpkin on the porch, went to steal it but it was so heavy we dropped it on their walkway.

But then again, we used to pull other pranks that were harmless and it wasn't anywhere near Halloween....lol

Once we took everyones trash on a whole block and lined it up at the ends of the streets so they would have to drive over it or move it, lol.
We also moved for rent or sale signs from one yard to another.

And once, a friend of ours had a party and passed out early...we took everyones yard ornaments in the neighborhood and put them in his front yard, lol.


I used to have a black cat and someone let hi out on Halloween...he showed up the next day all sticky and smelled like vomit......

My husband grew up in the middle of nowhere in Idaho. The best Halloween fun then was tipping outhouses (boy, does that date him, huh?!). Well, that is until your little sister fell in the hole and you had to help her out!! Phew!!

Ours is a little town but some teens still do it to people they want to "get even" with.
No one generally comes up to our house because of the dogs.
Sigh, not even the next night with trick or treating, we get just a few trick or treaters.
Of course my daughter laughs and says she is going to think positive, it means more candy for her!

Halloween is just the first one I avoid. In January, I can breathe again!

It was called Cabbage night when I was a kid and I dont know why maybe a local thing.
We were allowed to soap windows, anyone who was mean got there windows soaped. We were not allowed to use eggs or parafine. It was funnnnnnnn.
Kids now would get arrested, if caught out doing harmless mischief, things have changed.
