~*~*~*~*~My rant about rants~*~*~*~*~
What is with all the rants lately? I mean, seriously, they have seen to popped up all of a sudden and overrun the boards with emotion and hostility. Can anyone really rant without offending somebody? I mean even if you were to rant about "WHY IS THE SKY BLUE!?!?!?!" someone who likes the color blue could be offended. LOL. You just can't win! It is a snowball affect:

- "Well, I enjoy this thoroughly. You're stupid for not enjoying it with me"
-"Why can't I not like what I don't like?!?"
---(And then you get the CAPS and the bold.. which translate to SCREAMING in computer language)----
-"BECAUSE I LIKE IT AND YOU HAVE TO LIKE WHAT I LIKE"
---(Good thing we can't control the font size, we would have people posting with their font size being 300)
-"WELL, YOU'RE ALL STUPID!!"
-"I HATE YOU!!"
---(And then come the threats)
-"GOOD THING I DON'T LIVE NEAR YOU!!!"
**(and then the Mods have to step in before a blood-bath ensues)**

See? Don't they all go like that? Be honest! How many of you came to read this rant expecting having to defend your position!? How many of you came to agree with me? How many of you came to defend your position against those who came to agree? How many of those came to disagree with those who agreed with me who came to defend their position?
**I challenge all the BYCers to have a RANT BUDDY. If you get fed-up with something, type a big long rant and PM it to someone you KNOW will agree with you. Because be honest, nobody rants to be disagreed with. I have a rant buddy, who I've been reading a couple rants from in my inbox. It works much better.
PS: Rant buddies, keep your inboxes EMPTY.. For BYC's sake..
