OR, my favorite method of ranting, the one I use most often is :
Step 1) You type a big long emotional rant about whatever the topic is, whether it is in response to another rant or just a thread. Write whatever you want. Whatever makes you feel "relieved". Say WHATEVER makes you feel better.
Step 2) Hit the PREVIEW button and(or just) re-read your rant-ish post.
Step 3)**VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO SKIP THIS PART** Never hit the SUBMIT button.
Never post it. You know you wrote it. You feel better because you typed what you REALLY wanted to type and you got it off of your chest, but it is not available for other's to read.
I read them because it sounds like someone needs support or a shoulder and unlike you may not have that available to them. I know I appreciate the shoulders offered to me on here.
We all need a shoulder to cry on every now and then. I understand that, but rants almost always end in a fight. And more people end up upset than feeling better.
