I'm more of the person who comes into the kitchen AFTER someone opened the rotting cheese..
LOL I'm the one who runs around, nose covered with shirt, frantically throwing windows open, lighting all the candles I can find(regardless of sent) and then soaking the area with flower scented air-freshener.. So now the kitchen is hot, with assorted fraganced candles burning and the air is laced with rotted cheese and flower smell..
I have to say that I completely agree Kim! I read the boards to learn about 1. how to care for my chickens 2. to give support to those who are having a rough time with their chickens 3. to enjoy the company of all the wonderful BYC'ers! I usually will look at a rant, maybe not even read it the whole way through, then just move on. They are almost just like sopopras (spelling?)! I have enough going on in my life to worry about who's done what to who.
I can't keep up with it all! It's way to overwhelming!
(Surely the above post won't cause another member to go ballistic and quit BYC...)
I actually don't see any harm in disagreements in general. They are usually how the best ideas are formed. But many people just aren't wired to deal with differences in opinions. I'm a NYC native, where argument is the spice that keeps life interesting. God help us in a world where we were all clones of each other!
