What's keeping me from getting more? ONE thing.
The fact that the law is a 2 chicken limit and psycho neighbors across the street who would call the cops in an instant if I have more. I wouldn't be able to raise then give up all my babies!
Boo to psycho neighbors. Thankfully, our area is zoned residential and agriculture. Besides, our neighbors have a cow and peacocks, besides chickens. So we're good.
I did notice, though, that your limit is 2 but you have 3.
What a shame. At this rate, we'll never find any help with our addiction.
In related news: My husband is an enabler. He not only loved my idea of getting more chicks, he actually agreed with my logic of needing to have four of the Sex Links, since we have four each of the other two breeds. Then this morning, when I was questioning whether it was really a good idea or just an impulse buy, he talked me into getting more. So . . . I just got home with two more pullets.
