I'm going to give you guys ONE. A single one.


I did tech support for a software company. I had an elderly gentleman on the phone and I was walking him through a repair installation of our software. I had him muted, so he couldn't hear me talking to my co workers while I was waiting on his installation to finish...a friend walked up to me eating one of those pancake sausage breakfast things...the conversation went like this:

Em "ARE YOU EATING SAUSAGE ON A STICK?!?!"

Elderly gentleman who OBVIOUSLY WAS NOT ON MUTE as I thought he was replies "Uh no ma'am...I'm not"

Em desperate to salvage any professionalism she had left "Well, in that case sir, once this repair installation is complete we'll have you fixed right up!"




I'm pretty sure the entire office almost died laughing. They still talk about it. My face is red as I type this.

I am pretty sure that gentleman will never eat breakfast near his computer ever again.
