It's Official...

Peachicks are a little dumb when they first hatch, (like Turkey Poults) and don't always start eating right away like keets do... marbles or anything shiny in the feed dish encourages them to start pecking... so they end up with food in their mouth and they figure out how to eat quicker.

That makes sense. Thanks.

Is one a buff keet and the other sky blue? Coyote got my sky blue hen 3 days ago. These are colors that seem muted to what I'm use to.

Other poults have all peeped but have done nothing been 24 hrs candled and there still alive and moving going are they always so slow to hatch? Going to wait til morning before I get excited.

The pure yellow poult looks like a Royal Palm, the 2 with the dark variegated pattern look Bronze, and the 2 with the light patterned markings look like Bourbon Reds to me, and that Chocolate might be a Black, looks kind of dark to me, but it's hard to tell in that pic. Congrats tho! You can compare your babies to the pics on http://www.porterturkeys.com (if you haven't already).

Your 2 keets in question look like a typical Buff Dundotte (probably a Hen) and a normal looking Lavender. They don't look muted to me, unless the pic is just messing with their color.

Yah you might have a Narri poult there, the one with the more golden head. They look really similar when they first hatch, so I always hatch my Bronze in a different tray than my Narris, then I band their legs so I know who's who, lol. You'll know for sure once they start feathering out good in a few weeks tho... the Bronzes feather in much darker, especially the wings.

I just put another 30+ Guinea eggs in the hatcher, and 10 or so Turkey more eggs. I'm getting burned out on hatching already, lol... and my dang Guinea Hens are finally spittin' out eggs like a pez candy dispensers like they should be... but NOW, in these wicked triple digit temps? I could choke them... why couldn't they lay all these eggs for me when it was cooler!! I am not setting any more Guinea eggs for a while, not setting any more Turkey eggs either. Just eggs from my Peahens and Silkie/Showgirl Hens, and small settings only (my Peacock is starting to drop his train so I may not be setting very many more eggs from the PeaHens this season anyway, but that's ok).
