Spring is officially on for our pheasants

Well upon closer inspection of the pen today, i found my first pheasant eggs up under a pine tree in a nice little nest..

Of course now they are frozen, but I'm going to crack them open after they thaw a bit and try to check fertility on them..***good thing i switched them all onto to game bird layer 4 weeks ago..

Yup my whole post went up twice..BYC a bit buggy today..

anyway my 5 year old Edwards no eggs yet, but the male is doing his best to get the hens attention..guess they shall soon follow..no bobwhite or turkey eggs yet, but its coming for them all the males are doing there best to attract the hens

all the eggs but 1 were fertile..go Wizard go..... and Picked up another 4 eggs tonight..
