Its SNOWING in GA!!!

Our farm at 7 a.m. this morning.

The picture is blurry due to snow on the lens.

This is the first real snowfall we've has since moving to the Blue Ridge area two years ago.

All I can say is "yuck"!

My place is a slushy gross mess this morning. That's why I hate snow! It makes a terrible, dangerous mess to walk through to do anything around here and takes forever to go away. I vote no more snow in Georgia this winter!!

I lived in Utah twice and one winter didn't see my yard for six months-the snow banks just piled higher and higher-it was better than in the south and more pleasant because of the dry air, but still, I've seen enough snow that it is only a major inconvenience to me. Needs to stay where it belongs-on postcards.

I had about one inch but is about all gone now due to the rain...................... kinda sad, wanted to take pictures

last time it snowed here was 1992 before I moved here but people who were here tell me it snowed maybe 1/2 inch and shut the entire city down. everywhere you go there are bridges which were covered with ice and there is no snow removal equipment in florida. I couldnt imagine trying to drive around here with that going on, people here cant even drive in the very rain

We had about 2 inches last night and I love it!! Just enough to enjoy.....and it will be gone tomorrow!!! Beautiful

Awoke to snow here too. Had to stop a think what was happening when I first saw it coming down outside my bedroom window. In New Orleans we got lots of rain but this was the oddest "rain" I had ever seen. Took my mind a while to diagnose the situation. I began screaming and laughing and shaking my husband to "wake up...look". He thought I had gone crazy. We moved last month to 45 miles outside Baton Rouge. Further north but not where I would have expected to see snow.

The girls and their guard dog, Rex, all of whom had never seen snow in their lives - acted like it was something to eat.
