Snowing here in Ohio too! Started about 6:30AM, I know because I got up with full intentions of going to the Connersville, Indian Poultry Show but when I saw the snow I knew my DBF who owns a towing company wouldn't be able to go with me like we planned. Sure enough he has been out all day on calls. I have been trying to make myself feel better about missing the show by being on the forum all day!
This is the first snow we have had since moving into our new house so it does make for some pretty pics.
He did get to come home for a little while, filled the wood burner outside, got on the quad & took the dogs for a run thru the snow. Then back out to clean up after some more wrecks. The snow hasn't let up yet & temps are below freezing making the roads icy tonight. I suspect it's going to be a long night for him. I'll be lucky if I get to see him until tomorrow morning. Nobody in Ohio knows how to drive in the snow, even small amounts. Thats why I stay home, it isn't worth it to get in a wreck because of the bad drivers. I see to many of them when I ride with him on calls. I have all my animals to keep me company. I think that is why he keeps bringing all these strays home, keeps me out of trouble
we only got rain! Hubby is always hoping for a foot of snow. I like it once in a while. I agree you are never to old to play in the snow. I have no kids living at home, and last year I was out there making a snowman. I haven't tried making a snow angel in a while though.
it's still snowing but we had a little bit of freezing rain mix with it witch melted most of it but now it's back snowing and so far it's just a dusting on everything... i already told my family when i get ready to move out my Apt and buy my first home it's gonna be somewhere where they have true winters with lots of snow..lol
It's snowing in NJ now too! Don't mind it! It snowed 18 inches the day I was born so I guess I'm used to it by now! DD drove in it for the first time tonight! Kinda scary waiting for her, but she got home OK!
