Socks, typical tux name. Also, it's unwise to move a sleeping cat... still traumatised from trying to move my childhood cat.
This is King. We adopted him from a shelter at 12 weeks old and his little bio said "we encourage you to try keep him inside for the first month of taking him home so he does not get lost when you release him". As apposed to all the other cats that said "in door only". Well here we are 5 years later, he still is not house trained, and definetly would much prefer to be outdoors, but even the rains got him camped up insideView attachment 3057179
Aw, I think Socks is a cute name! And very fitting!
Y'all must be getting drenched over there! Is that typical for Australian autumns? This is the rainy season (AKA mud season) for us, too, but it hasn't been too bad. Last year, it started raining in the spring and didn't stop until half way through summer. It was truly miserable!
Nice thing about Casper is that he doesn't seem to be bothered if you move him around. He just looks around to see what's going on, and then goes right back to sleep once you're done moving him. My mom has carried him all the way across the room to me when she's needed to get up and he was on her lap, and he settles right in and goes back to sleep without a fuss. I guess that means I really could have moved him without worry the other night, but I mean, come on, just look at him in that picture!
