It's time for me to admit I have a problem...

One year ago today, we brought Casper into the house for the first time. The first thing he did in the house, of course, was hop up onto my bed and make himself quite comfortable. He was such a scruffy little guy back then!!

Today, one year later... He's decided to lounge in his box this morning and chew on the corner of it. Like you do.

Wow - he really was quite scruffy when you took him in. I am guessing he is really not regretting giving up life on the streets.
And what is it with chewing carboard boxes? It is like mine work for the recycling company!

He was! I'm astonished every time I look at his old pictures! He's so luxuriously fluffy now, it's hard to believe he was so scrawny and dirty at first.

He sure doesn't seem interested in going outside at all anymore, so I'd guess he doesn't miss life out there one bit!

And what is it with chewing carboard boxes? It is like mine work for the recycling company!

Oh my goodness, yes! Casper is constantly leaving little bits of cardboard all over the floor around his boxes! We've always had cats who loved to sit in boxes, but he's our first cardboard chewer to date. The goober!

I woke up with a bad fever and dizzies this morning, so I fed Casper and went back to bed. I think he assumed he was going to be fed a second time when I got up again because he put on a half-hearted starved cat act for me when I got out of bed again.
