It's time for me to admit I have a problem...

It's too late, y'all, he's broken free of the box 🤭

One of my cats gave me a huge scare today.
He didn’t come for food.
That never happens.
I thought maybe he was deeply asleep on my bed (though normally he can hear the can being opened even through his snores!).
No sign of him.
I go in a major search fearing I will find him unwell or dead. I give up having searched everywhere and am on the edge of full on sobbing.
I come back to the kitchen and there he is tucking in with gusto.
I have no idea where he could have been!
Now he is safely on my bed sleeping off his lunch!

Casper thought I had brought my newly hatched chicks out onto the bed for him to play with. Can you sense his disappointment when I didn't let him? 🤭

(Side note--yeah, I had chicks on my bed, it's a common thing here  The incubator I use as a hatcher sits on my bedside table and I pop the chicks out onto the bed for just a moment after they hatch to leg band them and get a quick picture before moving them to the brooder, not long enough for any messes to be made!)
