Not interested on the crowing at all, its just a side effect of male hormones.Maybe you could attempt breeding for both true breeding, & the unique crow? If you wanted.

My Heritage Plymouth Barred Rock rooster passed his screaming crow down to his son. So, it can be genetically passed down.Not interested on the crowing at all, its just a side effect of male hormones.
It's okay if you don't want the crow though.Not interested on the crowing at all, its just a side effect of male hormones.
He’s pretty. What are the females like in ayam bekisar?There are also Ayam Bekisar Bantams, the only one that I was able to find in youtube is a Green Junglefowl x Sebright F1 rooster, but due to the Rose comb and henny feather nature its not iridescence and also lacks the rooster saddle and hackle pattern. it might not look as pretty as one with smaller single comb or a small pea comb
Depends on the breed of chicken used. Most look like wildtype hensHe’s pretty. What are the females like in ayam bekisar?
Green Jungle fowl do moltSo I just read that the Onigadori chicken has a nonmolting gene and that they got it from the green junglefowl. Do they really not molt?
@Kessel23
Personally I’ve always wanted an oscellatedxdomestic turkey variety, but Occelated turkeys are even harder to find than green jungle fowl around here! Very fragile too.
Nice project.
