Could be the chicken. I know my broody didn't bite me when I lifted her off her nest and carried her around like a turkey foot ball. hahahaha My little brother couldn't even get near her without th evil eye of I am gong to pick off all your fingers!

It is up to you if you want her to hatch out this time of year. If she is a first time mom, keep an eye on her and her chicks and be ready just in case she doesn't accept them.

haha Silkiechicken. That's kind of funny.. She never really liked me anyway, so I think she thinks she can use her mood for an excuse. haha.

Put under her only as many as she can cover completely and have against her skin, especially this time of year.
