Wow this thread is 4 years old. Glad to say getting a farm again.

We looked at so many places and they say "wait and the right house will happen." So in May my Barn Board owner was telling me her uncle who lives on their 50 acres was moving back to Colorado to live with his son and Grandbabies. Son is currently building him an addtion to the house. He lives in the main house .
So we made a deal. He is selling me 15 acres with the main house. It is a good price , more than what I was finding. IT is 4 br and 2 baths and my horses will still be boarded there. My Va loan was approved last week and we will be closing next month. He has a large coop already on the property, I am so excited. They are also giving me a reduction on board if I help out so all good.
So you know I am making big plans on re- starting my flock for Spring.

Welcome back, and it is so great that things are working out for you! Good luck with the new house, and I'm sure it will be fun putting together a new flock!
