Pollen from the Wattle trees in the bush block next to us is giving even me hayfever this year - so hubby is a wreck.

That's a beautiful harvest!
I planted 20 winter squash plants, more than one time, this year and the only fruit I got were 2 little kabocha, like 10 butternut squash and 1 table queen. I don't think I watered enough.
I swear my chickens are drawn to the compost pile. It takes all of 5 minutes for them to make my pile flatView attachment 4227803
New coop is nearly ready. Hole for automatic door is in, roosts done, nesting boxes done. Only thing left is the vinyl plank floor and relocating the fence to enclose new coop in the chicken yard. Floor expected to be done Wednesday to complete the coop. None to soon because we are out of room in the old coop, 5 grown birds, 2 teenagers, and 3 in the terrible twos. All this in a coop build to about 17 sq.ft. meant for 4 chickens. The new coop should be good for about 30, it’s 120 sq.ft. This is par for the course for me and my ‘in the nick of time’ management style. I’ve of late been physically putting the chickens to bed on the roost and calming the upheaval.![]()
Yes I quit watering. I only had potato and tomatoes left when I should have started. The garlic and onions were already harvested. Somehow they are still greenI watered and got 2 hulless pumpkins. and the water bill will kill me.
Ha, after the 5th coop I decided that I better quit building. I just fill up as many Poultry as I can stuff in themas soon as you finish your coop start another one. so you will be ready for the chicken math.
