I've been bitten ! 😱

Okay. Did you even follow basic snake bite first aid after you got bitten? If you didn’t, you basically got venom that eats away at your tissue into your internal organs. This won’t end well for you if you don’t go to a doctor now. You already waited far too long for normal treatment, now you are probably going to have to pay thousands of dollars for lifesaving treatment. I, this is such a sad sight to see.
What's the basics ?

Call an ambulance. Don’t move. Apply pressure to prevent blood flow back to the heart. Don’t wash it or try to suck the venom out.
I got inside as soon as possible and sat down and didn't move , we applied a little pressure for a while and I didn't wash it .

I think it was closer to a dry bite !
My mom's friend got bit and her whole leg was swelled up by the next day and mines not !
I honestly think I'll be fine !

I'll be curious to know, a few weeks from now, how it all turns out.

You and your mom are there observing it in person, while the rest of us are just making recommendations over the internet--hopefully between the two of you, you'll make the right decisions for your situation. (Wikipedia tells me that doctors only give antivenom for some copperhead bites, not all copperhead bites--so a doctor might not have done anything you cannot do at home. Not being a doctor, I don't know!)

I personally would have advised going to the hospital right away, but it's clearly too late for that now :)

Ok what should I watch for ?
If you’re asking these you probably didn’t do it and if you’re going to treat it yourself, shouldn’t you have already looked up all these things like.... last night when you got bit!? That would have been the first thing I would have done. Thankfully copperhead bites are rarely deadly from what Ive read so you MIGHT be okay but even if you don’t die, you could still lose your foot or develop an infection and/or sepsis and die from that. Snake bites are very serious and you should either go to the hospital or have looked up treatment and warning signs first thing.

Sepsis can be a deadly condition if not treated.

You bet it can be! Here's my horror story - I was in the hospital with an infection that made me septic back in February... It came on SO FAST. 104.8 degree fever for 2 days. I was in the hospital for 6 nights on 4 types of antibiotics. I had to go home with a PIC line, and gave myself antibiotics through it for 15 days after I was discharged. Wound up that I somehow got staph in my bloodstream, the doctors don't know how I got it. The stupid infection decided that it should gather in my left leg, so I got cellulitis in it that blistered, and scarred. It looks like I was in a fire... ugh.
Super duper fun time when you're a single parent of 3 kids, let me tell you! But I'm ALIVE, thank God! It really was very terrifying.
