Well, I don't have a clue as to the placement.
The pins were side by side, and were evenly spaced. I wound the yarn around each one and lifted it over to form the smoothly knitted panal.
I don't suppose that is much of a help.
The looms themselves were sold in three sizes. However, the largest was the only one I actually used. It was maybe a yard long, and the space that the knitted product traveled through was be an opening that maybe ?1.5"?.
Although I called them as ovals, that is not correct, they are more of a rectangle. There were just two long sides joined on both ends. The center was a long and narrow opening. On top was the pins.
On the left and right side was an extra pin that was like a really sturdy thumbtack to wind the yarn around once to keep the project stabile, when you set it down.
They were made out of wood, smoothed and varnished.
If you are not confused yet, I can keep trying
Let me know if this helps, or if I need to further bludgeon my memory to squeeze out a few more details. I am willing to further discuss this because I have a vested interest to have another loom. I would love to get one like I had, from you. It's like shopping at a local store instead of a chain.
