Thanks everyone will be reading article continuously. At this stage as long as it doesn't seem distressed or dead I won't assist, just keep warm and humidity up. I'm hoping it doesn't have a bursted vessel, but as its a black chick I just can't tell

Just an update guys (because of all the searching I did theres not often an outcome posted at end of thread, so hopefully this helps someone) the chick passed overnight, as papertowel dried out and membrane dried. Almost all the veins had retracted, and it appeared to have pearced the inner membrane. Poor bugger I should have set alarms to check during night

Sorry, use coconut oil or Vaseline to keep a membrane moist, water can make the chick cold and cause it to dry out faster...
