I hope not.

Going through 50# of feed a week is too much, really, unless we develop an extremely solid egg sales business.

We've been using ours for over 2 years (near continuous hatches/back to back until November) and it's been awesome. I have nothing negative to say about it, except I would like it to be easier to clean between hatches. Other than that small detail, it's the best low-cost incubator on the market.

Those were my thoughts at one time also, but just prior to Thanksgiving and Holiday sales of my turkeys I was going through #50 lbs. plus every day. Just down to breeding stock now so much more manageable, but after this storm front moves through and refreezes things up am going to be separating into breeding groups to start all over again. But I do sell poults in spring and dressed and smoked birds throughout year.

How many birds do you have?

I'm not 100% sure at the moment. Around 45 -- but two for sure and possibly another are moving out to a new home tonight (11 went up for sale on Craigslist yesterday).
