I ordered a couple days after this thread started. I just got tracking info a couple days ago. Whatever happens, happens, it wasn’t a life altering amount and there are safeguards in place at banks that protect against these things, thankfully. I have ordered from China before and both received what I ordered and didn’t, and the time I didn’t my bank reimbursed.

For $55 including shipping we ordered one -- as an adjunct to or replacement for Camp Cockerel -- for use separating either cull birds or breeding groups.

Of course we're going to have to modify it, probably heavily, but we figured that no matter how badly-made it is there is at least $55 worth of parts and tarp in it. :D

Got the notice today that it's shipped -- though it didn't hint at when the delivery might arrive.

Should be a fun project to work on once it arrives.

Their return policy doesn't specify how long it takes.You were wise to cancel your order before it was shipped.

"Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you a notification of receipt. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
 
If it looks too good to be true.... I ordered some bras on FB marketplace. Took about 3 years to get rid of the spam, they did come, they were not as described and my daughters inherited. But they did come. That is a really good deal if it showed up and was as good as the picture.
 
Glad you decided to ask for a refund, @3KillerBs. I was rooting for you, but at the end of the day I know this most likely has to be a scam. If this wasn't a Paypal transaction, just make sure you keep an eye on your credit card account activity for the next year. Sometimes they try to wait until you forget and then start spending with your card. I'm not trying to scare you, just trying to look out for you since you've been so helpful to me on this forum. And I saw that someone else in the comments said they had unauthorized activity on their account long after getting a refund for one of these scams.

One really good thing to come out of this thread is that people can learn from what you went through and just pass on things that look too good to be true. Sorry you had to be the guinea pig, but I'm just trying to look at the bright side of things. It's a real shame these scams exist to begin with.

We went into it knowing that we almost certainly wouldn't get anything as nice as the photo.
