I've Got A Real Big Problem With My Goldens! Help!!!!

Thats exactly what he looked like! How could I've been so stupid!? I thought as long as they weren't in the same pen they would be fine. I'm getting rid of the bantam chickens asap!

So Long As They Are Seperated By Enough Distance Or A Solid Divider Wall As To Prevent Droplet Spread When Coughing Or Sneezing You Should Be Fine. That And Maintain Biologic Issolation Between Them And Other Poultry So You Dont Become The Transfering Method ( We Think Thats How Fitzy's Got Started In That String I Posted As Reference)

I Learned The Hard Way Several Years Ago Too. And Still To This Day I See Folks Answer Threads Here About Mixing.. Usually When I Tell Them Its Bad Mojo Because Of This Very Sort Of Thing About 4 People Will Jump On The String And Start Nay Saying.

Thanks JJ! I'll have to put up a solid barrier today. Only wire has separated them.

Dont Forget The Biologic Isolation Too! Doesnt Matter What Or How Far Seperated They Are If Your The Agent Of Transmission...

Good Luck With Them.

Oh Btw... Culling Was The Best Course Of Action-- If It Helps? Had The Lad Actually Survived He Would Have Then Become A Carrier To All The Rest Of Your Flock. I'm Sure This Knowledge Doesnt Help How You Feel But Maybe It Can At Least Have A Little Solice In It.
