So I've been incubating 7 eggs for one week now. The incubator I'm using is really old and very, very manual. The temp on the incubator is ok until I leave. I go to school 7 hours a day and when I come home the incubator temp is wayyyy too high. My humidity has also been a big struggle. I candles them for the first time today and I think they're all dead because of the heat. Can someone please show me what a dead egg looks like when candled? I'm getting a new incubator and trying again. I'm thinking about getting the Magicfy Automatic Incubator, has anyone here used it before?

At seven days into incubation a dead embryo will make a blood ring. You will be able to see a dark line that goes most or all o the way around the middle of the egg. There will also be no visible veins in the egg, just a dark small blob and the dark blood line. Is that what your eggs look like?

Also if you've had temp problems from the start they may not have developed much at all. Here is a pic to help. Not my own photos

Tysm! I was afraid to turn off my incubator cause I didn't know if they were actually dead. 5 of them are for sure dead and 2 I'm not sure about. I'll candle again tomorrow but I'm pretty sure that they're all dead. I was sad, but it happens. So I'll start incubating a new batch if eggs in 2 1/2 weeks with a NEW incubator. Thanks for the help.
