As some of you might of read my main rooster Chipmunk had lost sight in one eye and had dropped to the bottom of the pecking order.

and he had been going out in the evening while everyone was getting on the roosts. Recently I've been having problems with predators and last night, he disappeared. And he did not show up today either, I'm pretty sure something got him. Good-bye my pretty, most expensive rooster.

He was gorgeous! We just lost a rooster also magnificent...and I know you miss him. You must have large predators to be able to conquer such a formidable roo but I guess if it was at night anything's possible. My sympathies. I am in the minority at my house concerning roos because I try to rehabilitate them when they're naughty, but the actual owners deal with them the old fashioned, non-huggy way and I don't have much say about it. Oh well, you know your guy had a great life while you could give him one. Better days ahead!

Aw, he was gorgeous! So sorry that he's dissappeared.
I'll keep my fingers crossed

and hope that he returns.
