We once had a lady ask what color eggs llamas lay....We looked at her and asked her to repeat herself, thinking she meant the emus...no, she said llamas again. Yeah, I think she toked a little too much back in the day....lol

Raised llamas for 25+ years and did a 2 week stretch at the San Diego County Fair to edu-makate the locals as to what exactly a llama was. Always had 2 to 4 llamas of different ages on display. One day a young Marine came by with his sweetie on his arm and he was impressing her with his worldly knowlege with...
"You can see, darli'n, that llamas are related to ostriches because they both have two toes". She cooed something about how wise he was and they moved on to the guinea pigs I imagine.
At the time I had both llamas and emus on the ranch...some folks!
