It was in the bin with the Jersey Giant pullets at tractor supply. I’m thinking that whatever it was, its bin had run low so they put them all in the same one. I’ve heard they get their chicks from Hoovers, but I haven’t been able yo identify it. This was it last week.Where did you get it? Looks like a heterozygous V comb

That didn't comb to mind. I didn't realize carnation combs had points on the sides of the back of the comb, that stood straight out.It's so perfectly symmetrical that it looks like a carnation comb.
But Penedesenca and Empordanesa chickens are so rare that it seems highly unlikely that one could end up in a random bin at Tractor Supply.
