I've run out of feed - what can I feed my four week old chicks to hold them over?

I've got nine four week old chicks and ran out of feed this afternoon. I will get more in the morning but have none left and I hate leaving them with nothing . Can I feed them peas and hard boiled eggs ? I don't have any grit . Thanks for the help !!

Eggs for sure, i wouldnt think the peas would hurt them.

Dirt or sand are both acceptable for chick grit. I'd go with hard boiled egg

It's probably morning for you now, but in the future any soft grain product would work. Bread, cooked hot cereal, cooked pasta, things like that. If you need grit in a pinch, a bit of dirt from the yard does just fine.
