I've seen that Australorps have all black eyes but, ours doesn't. They are yellow and black. Is this common?

I'm sorry for being a bit obnoxious asking for all these angles, but I'm a bit invested in what she could be. Could you a picture of the comb from above so I can see if she has side sprigs? I have been researching a little and found out that Black Penedesencas lay lighter eggs than other varieties and some breeders say that some lay light-pinkish eggs. The black variety also is a bit heftier, which could explain the way she is built too!

Hatchery stock will have off-colored eyes. Hatchery birds rarely meet the breed standard, though they are perfectly fine as backyard birds. The bird in my avatar is a green-eyed Jersey Giant. Though a definite flaw for this breed this hen lived for over 10 years.

Quite possibly so or hatchery stock as theoldchick mentioned. We love her no matter what she is. Our 8 year old is really loving the chickens. When he is a little older we will get him involved with FFA or 4H I hope.

Possible but I doubt it. The comb isn't right. Whether male or female, it should have side sprigs at the back of the comb. If female, the comb should be flopped over to one side.
I can't see the earlobes but they should be white - even though flawed birds don't always have white lobes. Penedesencas are very rare so they wouldn't be the first breed I would expect to find anywhere.

My Black Australorps have brownish gold eyes. Their egg color is similar to what you have. They have the dark slate legs with pinkish feet, red earlobes, single comb.

Mine came from TSC, and I know they are "just" hatchery quality, but that's fine with me, as they are nice chickens.
