I think I have a duck with either depluming mites or maybe feather lice. I was going to use the Ivomectrin pour on I have in case it is depluming mites. Some of the feathers look like they've been cut which on another post seemed to point to those. I have a kc hen and Pekin drake. Anyone know the dosage?

How much does he weigh?

You're welcome!

So right after u dosed my ducks I noticed a tiny brown thing crawling on my arm. It was big enough that it was noticeable, and not round but somewhat elongated. Now I'm thinking maybe they could have lice afterall. Feather lice? If that's the case then from what I understand the ivermectin won't treat that as they aren't blood suckers. From your research is that true? If so what do you think I should do now that I have already dosed them with the ivermectin? Would something else, like a dip, be too much for their systems? Ugh, all this makes my skin crawl. I'm so grateful to you (and others like you) who share their time and expertise to help all is newbies.

Ivermectin does treat feather lice. All lice should be gone in 24-72 hours.
