I have purchased ivermectin 1% for my pheasant who most likely has gape worm but they only had the injectable form. I hate to have to use a needle one her so I was wondering if there is any luck with giving it orally instead?

Yes, depending on size 2 or 3 drops from a syringe and needle into the mouth, you will have to hold the bird a open its mouth, be carefull with the needle as not to stick it in the birds eye

Oh my gosh thank you so much. I'm glad to hear that. I will be careful, I have administered different medicines to animals before orally.
