It finally happened, my older gals got scaly legs. I came here to find the name of the med for cattle that works for this and bought a bottle. My local Walgreens was kind enough to give me a baby medicine dosage syringe with .1ml markings. I treated with a flashlight while they were roosting so I wouldn't have to chase anyone. I went ahead and dosed the whole flock, whether symptomatic or not, to prevent reinfection.
Wow, did it ever work! The signs of irritation were gone the next morning and I'm already seeing healing at two weeks post-treatment. No noticed side effects.
