What's the temperature where you are???

I'd like to announce that the temp dropped to 68F last night and we turned off the A/C for the very first time since last March.

The first day you can turn off the A/C is practically a holiday here. We had to turn it back on because it's going to be 94F today but it was off for a little while! Woohoo! Let's boogie! 💃

Come on, November, hurry up!🍂

Mid-Autumn Festival

East Asian (Sinosphere) harvest festival
The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival, is a harvest festival celebrated in Chinese culture. It is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunisolar calendar with a full moon at night, corresponding to mid-September to early October of the Gregorian calendar. On this day, the Chinese believe that the moon is at its fullest and brightest, coinciding with the time of harvest in the middle of autumn.

It was 67F overnight. We turned the A/C back on at 9:30, when it hit 80. I worked outside comfortably for the first time in months! Cleared some puncture vine out of the yard. High of 97 today.

We're predicted to have two more triple digit days this week. That should be the END of the triple digit temps for the season (we hope). 🙏

I'm not the only one celebrating. Check out this thread on the Tucson subreddit: "May all Tucson rejoice, for on this very day, the water in the faucet runs cold!" 🎉🥂
