Can you use ivermectin paste as a wormer for peafowl? I have a tube that I am using for my rabbits and was wondering if I could use it for them too. If so what dose would I give? I give a pea sized drop for my rabbits.

If not then I guess I'll go get the ivermectin liquid.

im not sure . i know ivermectine labled fopr swine is safe for birds, they have it in injectable and in a powder (less common and called ivomec powder). i know rabbits and poultry can share a lot of common diseases. now if you really want to go organic with deworming try dusting your bird in diatomaceous earth. its been effective for centuries.

Thanks for the info. I haven't bought the safeguard yet but plan to do so for our dogs and soon to be pair of goats.

I believe the standard wait time for most drugs is a month. The safeguard is good to use for peafowl because safeguard is Panacure, which they use to prevent black head disease when they are on the same property as chickens.
