You have it backwards. Ivermectin IS a wormer. Anything else is secondary. Unfortunately everyone seems to use it primarily to treat lice/mites when other notable and more effective treatments are available. This is why ivermectin is showing signs of ineffectiveness against large roundworms in chickens because of them building resistance to over- usage of ivermectin products. They are the primary worm that chickens get and will eventually kill a chicken. Consider using sevin dust, adams products, poultry dust, permethrin products, orange guard. You need to use one of those products to treat your coops anyway. Even use household bleach to spray the inside of your coops, it'll kill lice or mites, dont use it on your chickens though.
