Smith Poultry Supply has "Ivermectin-50ml bottle" for sale ($29)
Can someone tell me is this is given orally or 'drop-on'???
Are both methods just as effective?
And where the heck does one get 'drop-on' Ivermectin? Can't find it anywhere!
Is this "Cattle" 'pour-on' ivermectin, like TSC sells, or what?
I am really confused.....................

HERE IS THE IDEA
THE 1% WATER SOLUBLE IS FOR INJECTION WITH PROPOLENE GYLCOL OR WATER
Otherone is the drop on neck method
the 5% oil based pour on
sucks into the skin immediately as droped on

Only 1% water soluble is orally or shot given
it is diluted with water (which is hard to mix) or propolene gylcol
I think 5 drop of propolene glycol to 1 drop of 1% soluble kind

AND THE
5% OIL BASED DROP ON IS JUST THAT
IT IS DROPED BY DROPS ON THE NECK SKIN NOT THE FEATHERS

AND YES IT IS CATTLE IVERMECTIN ONLY

AS THE MED COMPANY DOES NOT TEST IT FOR THE CHICKENS NO MONEY IN IT

WITH THAT SAID
i WOULD SAY sMITH POULTRY HAS A GOOD DEAL ON IT

IT LAST A LONG TIME

i HAVE PUT UP A ARTICLE ON USING iVERMECTIN
DO A SEARCH ON byc
FOR gLENDA hEYWOOD iVERMECTIN USE

AND SHOULD BRING UP MY ARTICLES AND TELLS HOW TO DO IT

the cattle pour on is 5% oil based droped on the neck skin
in my article gives the amt of drops

EMAIL ME AND i WILL BE GLAD TO SEND IT TO YOU EMAIL

So, Glenda..........'where' would one purchase the 5% Ivermectin oil?
Is this the "cattle pour on"?
Is 'this' what I would use a few drops on the back of my chicken's neck?

I don't know about the oil Glenda mentioned.

I was just going to say that the injectable ivermectin is sometimes administered orally, specifically if gapeworm is suspected. This can be done by dropping drops down the throat or by feeding a piece of bread soaked in the medicine.
