Funny you posted about Scaredy, I was wondering about an update on her.

Life is so hard on feral animals. The little wild cat that had been around our house for about 18 months was killed this past winter. A raccoon got her right under our porch

Scaredy needs to come home!

Something is going on - perhaps a coyote in the area. She is gone again and not hanging out around the house during the day. We are in a heat wave, but this behavior started before it got excessively hot.

There was a time when she would go away for months at a time, but the last several years she has been a homebody. I have not seen the other feral in quite a while.
